A Planned Repair Is Better Than an Unexpected Breakdown

Unexpected vehicle breakdowns can disrupt schedules, delay jobs, and affect a business’s bottom line. Work vehicles need to be working, not sitting in a repair shop.

Our goal is to help you schedule downtime instead of having downtime schedule itself.

Although some failures are inevitable, a proactive maintenance program can reduce the likelihood of preventable breakdowns and give you more control over when your vehicles are out of service.

At SKOTS, we believe preventive maintenance is about more than routine oil changes. It’s about knowing the condition of your vehicles, identifying developing problems early, and planning maintenance and repairs around your business needs.

Inspections, Tracking and Scheduling

Understand your vehicles and plan the next step.

RMI

Routine Maintenance Inspection

Our foundational oil-change service includes an oil and filter change and a quick visual check for visible leaks, brake wear, and tire condition.

CMI

Comprehensive Maintenance Inspection

A more detailed assessment of vehicle condition, including fluids, tires, brakes, lighting, belts, hoses, charging system, visible leaks, lubrication points, front-end, steering and suspension wear, and a computer system scan where appropriate.

We generally schedule it near your vehicle’s Massachusetts inspection due date and, by prior arrangement, can bring the vehicle for its state inspection.

Records

Maintenance Tracking, Scheduling, and Vehicle History

We keep organized service histories for each vehicle, track upcoming maintenance needs, and help schedule service around your business operations. That way, you know what has been done, what is coming due, and can plan ahead.

Each month, we can email you a list of the vehicles coming due for service.
